"Check-in took some time as there was an elderly couple in charge that seemed more interested in watching TV. The rooms were OK and you could get a beer of coffee at the bar, but that was it. Restaurant not open for evening meal or breakfast. I think we were the only guests, so the place was very quiet. Luckily the local town had many facilities that we used for eating & socialising. "Booked a single room. Very nice and clean. I was there two nights the first night was very quiet with respectable guests on either side of my room. The second night I had Chinese ladies on either side of me that were rude, loud and messy. The walls are paper thin, so it’s common sense you talk in a low tone. Duh! I felt horrible for the cleaning person who had to clean up after them. Of course this does not reflect on my review. It was a lovely hotel with friendly staff, clean and well worth what I paid."
