Awesome place to stay while in Sendai..

Such a convenient location to everything in central Sendai but slightly off the main entrance to the Sendai station such that you don't have to deal with all those crowds. Highly recommended. Staff was friendly, good amenities, eco-friendly by avoiding unnecssary room cleaning service, very clean and quiet.

Ovreall was good. Staff were very courteous and helpful. Besides, the room was clean, except that it had a very mild smell of smoke though i was told to be given a non-smoking room.

Conveniently located, close to the Morning Market. The staff are very friendly. There is a convenience store in the same building. The room is small, which is not surprising. Free coffee is available in the lobby, but interestingly, the machine was closed off in the morning (~11:00). It was in operation late in the afternoon.

A Convenient And Lovely Hotel

- Sendai Washington Hotel is an excellent hotel especially if you are visiting Sendai for the first time. It’s located at a convenient +/-5 to 7 mins walking distance from the Sendai train station. - closed to the shopping district and there is even a street market just 2 streets away (good way to discover local food and way of life) - there is a convenient store (FamilyMart) that is assessible by the hotel lobby - Checking In and Checking Out process are done through an automated machine and the hotel front desk personnel are always on- hand to assist - Hotel staff are all approachable and friendly - Amenities provided are no frill but they are practical and useful. - The rooms that my family and I occupied were clean and good size - Room temperature in excellent condition - cool air when you need as well as heater mode functioning perfectly - Shower water pressure and temperature levels was excellent - breakfast selection was plentiful and really tasty - will definitely stay at Sendai Washington when I return and will also highly recommend this hotel to others
