"Many reviews mention the noise of passing trains. I had room 230, on the rear of the hotel and, while I certainly heard the trains, including at times during the night, they didn’t keep me awake. I can see how it would be a problem for light sleepers. If that describes you, be sure to request a room on the front (highway) side of the hotel. The place was super clean and obviously well-maintained. Bed was comfortable and everything worked. The restaurant is not fancy. My dinner was good. Breakfast, though, was just a buffet but OK. The drive along this stretch of 66 is quite pleasant, scenic and relaxing and worth the extra time over I-40 even if you’re not staying at Hualapi."

"Cute little place with a very retro feel. Right in the middle of everything. Clean and tidy, and extremely comfortable bed. Front desk person (Shannon?) kind, friendly, and helpful. Only cons: limited plugs, and unable to figure out how to get Thursday Night Football on television!"

"This is a genuine old time motel at the heart of a Route 66 community. The rooms were well presented, clean, and comfortable. I'm quite a heavy sleeper so any railway noise didn't really bother me. The only thing is that I found the WiFi a bit temperamental in my room."
