"We had booked a room at the hotel, but it turned out the room was located in a separate 4 room cottage down a trail where we had to drive by car. We did not feel comfortable there, and room was relatively expensive. Therefore we drove back to the reception to ask for a room at the main hotel. In the reception they claimed that we had booked a room in the cottage. But no cottages were shown at booking by pictures or in writing, nor in our confirmation. "Lejlighederne på An den Lindenbäumen er ringe standard. Der var ikke 5 senge + sengetøj som bestilt, så en måtte sove på sofaen. Lyset virkede ikke i alle rum. Der manglede bestik til alle i køkkenet og endelig stank der fælt i opgangen. Man skal gå igennem toilet/bad for at komme til det ene værelse. Mærkelig indretning. Vi klagede og fik en anden lejlighed i byen som var fin. Men den første kan man ikke tillade sig at leje ud. "

"Unbelievable experience!! Loved everything about this castle… if you want to stay in a 750+ year old castle with unbelievable staff, stay here! Restaurant was great, food amazing… Ano (not sure if I spelled it right) and his wife (and staff) were unbelievably accommodating. Highly recommend staying here! Definitely worth the trip and money… can’t wait to come back!"

"It is situated in tranquil village around the old monastery. Check in, Restaurant and Bar are in main Hotel Kloster Haydau in approx. 100m distance from The Old Post Station. Private parking in Poststation private yards normally possible. Very friendly staff. This was my second night spent here, first was Year ago. Price performance ratio is splendid, and only some 30kms away from Autobahns, You can have nice and peaceful stay in rural area. I'll definitely reserve a room again."
