Top Sechelt Hotel Reviews
Rockwater Secret Cove Resort
10/10 Excellent
"We loved our stay here for the stunning location , excellant reception and service, pool and ocean swimming, massage and standard comfortable room in the hotel itself. We found the restaurant overrated on the actual dinner, breakfast was excellant."
West Coast Wilderness Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"Location was excellent and villa was spacious"
Gibsons Garden Hotel
8/10 Good
"Old building and noisy upper floors and walls but clean"
The Oceanside, a Coast Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Easy check in, plenty of parking, well sized modern room, right across the pier."
Tranquility Bay Waterfront Inn
8/10 Good
"First off, would I stay here again? Absolutely. The location and views are stellar. The layout of the place and management were also great and because it's at the end of the road, zero traffic noise. Perfectly serene. I think this inn was probably the belle of the ball a decade ago. Today, however, the lifejackets & parasols are moldy and the woodwork everywhere could use some stain. Carpets in the rooms are also filthy. My mother would have walked right out and not returned. Slap on some slippers and it's not a deal breaker in my eyes, though. I think if ownership would just invest in renovating those few items, this place would instantly return to its former glory. That said, still today, the location and views are a 10 out of 10. Paddle boarding out to frolick with the seal family in the bay is a bucket list item for nature lovers. Definitely recommend for folks who are not too fussy about immaculate cleanliness. I personally would love to come back."
Oceanside Villas
10/10 Excellent
"Great location, across from the ocean. Nice that there is a separate bedroom. Quiet location."
The Bonniebrook Lodge
8/10 Good
"Ocean beach was amazing. It was difficult to get a hold of the front desk."
The Tuwanek Hotel and Spa
10/10 Excellent
"We spent three nights at the Tuwanek in late July for my partner’s birthday, and it was exactly the kind of quiet, scenic retreat we were hoping for. The setting right on the inlet is the real draw — waking up to that view every morning made it hard to leave the room. Rooms were beautifully appointed and spotless, and the little touches (spa services, quality products) made it feel like a proper occasion rather than just a place to sleep. It’s remote enough that you’ll want a car for dinner — we made the short drive into Sechelt most nights (Fred’s was a highlight) — but that same remoteness is what makes the property feel so peaceful. Kayaking right off the inlet, seal, otter and eagle sightings from the shore, and easy access to Skookumchuck Narrows and Hidden Grove rounded out the trip nicely. The owners are a delight as well. There if you need anything! This is a special place, I almost didn’t want to be this glowing in my review as others will find this place, but it’s truly magical :)"
