"Brathay Lodge makes for a very comfortable and convenient stay in the Lake District. The room was modern and well-maintained and the staff friendly and considerate. There is a parking fee (unless booked direct) but you’d have to pay elsewhere anyway. If you have an electric car it’s a good idea to let them know in advance so you can use their reasonably-priced ProjectEV charger. The continental breakfast was fresh and varied and set us up for the day. Would definitely stay there again. "

"Right on the edge of Grasmere village, a maximum 10 minute walk. Suite was very comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. Two pubs within walking distance, the best being the Travellers Rest, excellent food.
