"A lovely stay in a cute old stable. Lovely provision of cereal, bread, butter, milk and coffee (including some for the cafetière for those like me who don’t drink instant). The fridge has a small freezer at the top which is great. The living room is double height and very comfy with underfloor heating, the bedroom is upstairs on the mezzanine. The owners have really thought about the things you need when staying away in self-catered accommodation and it shows! 10/10"

"Very helpful and friendly owners, great location for visiting our new granddaughter. 2 mins walk to lovely Pearsons park. Some lovely welcoming items, lots of fresh fruit, bread, butter, milk and cake all vegan as owners are, a couple of things i would suggest is maybe a door curtain could be put in place as there was no privacy going from the bathroom across the kitchen to the bedroom also there was no smoke alarm present. All in all a nice stay 👍 "

"Decided to take a short break with kids to York and found the milking parlour Wheldrake online. From our arrival we were blown away with the place it was the perfect family cottage. The hosts were easy to contact on the way down, the cottage itself is in the centre of the milking sheds now converted to lovely holiday cottages which are bright, spacious and clean.
