"The advert on Hotels.com specifically talks about spa facilities, saunas, massages etc. There are NONE of these available AT the hotel; you have to go half a mile down the road to the local health club (which was amazing, by the way), but cost another £30 or so for the evening. It is misleading to suggest the Hotel itself has these amenities. And the restaurant closed earlier than the host told me. I wouldn't book again."

"Tholes Bucken is probably the nicest, cleanest and comfiest Hotel I've stayed in for years. The room aas massive, comfy and really modern. The staff were teally great (polute, friendly and efficient) and the evening meal (Duck) was amazing. If i ever find myself in the area again, i would have no hesitation booking again."

"Beautiful place! Nice, warm clean and cosy. Beautifully decorated for the festive season. Big clean room with very comfortable bed. Good location for a nice stopover not far from the motorway. Just wished we could have stayed longer."

"Undergoing refurbishment at the time of visit, hotel was a mess with laundry crates strewn across landings, and areas taped off. Room was adequate, if dated, and a little dirty. Breakfast was good, however on site restaurant with limited choice. Staff very pleasant and helpful. I only stayed here because of it's proximity to my work location, and would probably not stay there again."

"The room was great. They have 24/7 staff for check in which was very convenient. The room was nice and clean. However, the bed was not that comfy, it was old and not in a good condition anymore. "

"Location is set in the country, beautiful and peaceful. Rooms are clean and comfortable, staff is lovely! We ate at the restaurant. Five star choices, all delicious. Commentary breakfast the next day, fit for royalty. We loved it! Highly recommend. "

"My family had an excellent experience at this property. Beginning with communication, easy straightforward self check in especially as non-German speakers all the way to the amenities, it was an experience that deserves 5 stars. The space was perfectly clean, well maintained, updated with AC available for warm nights and all amenities available were good quality from the coffee to the towels. We particularly appreciated the housekeeper who had the sofa bed made up and ready for us to crash when we arrived late in the evening. It was so nice to not be try and figure out German instructions with the translate app to setup the sleeping space when we are exhausted at midnight. There was candy waiting for us too, on each of our pillows. It was an expected touch. We were on a road trip and this is the ONLY place we have stayed in that nailed hospitality. Well done, we will definitely be back if we return to the Bremen area and also recommend to family and friends."

"Stayed here again and the property was still as nice and cosy as I remembered. Nice location and walkable to the town centre. Check out was a bit early at 10am but when I asked if we could check out a bit later they said we could have up to 11am so we were happy with that."
