We loved our stay in the Meliá Berlin, our only small issue when we were there was we could not get internet in our room despite reporting it a few times. We had access to the level so it wasn’t a huge problem.

Staff were really friendly and although they didn’t speak much English, they tried. It is not stroller/wheelchair friendly. To access the reception you must go up a flight of stairs and to access the rooms you must go up 2 flights of stairs. There is a church right across the hotel that rings it’s bells every 30 minutes but besides that the area is really quiet and calm which was really nice.

"This hotel exceeded expectations, really nice vibe, only 25 minutes on the nearby tram to alexanderplatz. Perfect location near the lake which was a lovely walk to after a delicious breakfast. We arrived ready to leave our luggage and our room was ready so we get to check in at 1pm instead! I think ..."
