"Great rooms indoor pool hot tub "

"It rained the only time we had access to the pool but others were enjoying it when we arrived late in the afternoon. Area was clean. Staff was friendly& helpful. Main issues: glad we were on the 2nd floor as we used the stairs often. Left on Sunday (same time as many others, 11am) &EVERY time the elevator speed on our floor it was full (3 times). So I gave up and left via stairs. Breakfast was better than some places I've stayed but I expected more (no bagels or coffee lids) after reading reviews. They seemed either short handed or new staff in that dept. I appreciated how the staff handled issues, respectful & with grace (another guest made a couple messes accidentally)."

"My family and I stayed at Home Suites Culebra while visiting my mother who is currently on life support in the hospital. At check-in I was required to pay a deposit, but no one explained that if I checked out before 9am on my checkout date, I would not be able to receive my deposit back until housekeeping inspected the room. I checked out at 5am and the front desk agent, Tre, told me I had to call back at 9am. When I called, I was told to speak with Rebecca, who was never available. Tre kept placing me on long holds and eventually said the deposit was approved but that he still couldn’t return it. On top of that, the room floors were very dirty and clearly had not been mopped. The only set of towels provided for my family had hair on them, so I had to go out and purchase towels for us to use. The room curtains also would not close, and the only solution offered by the front desk was a bed sheet to cover the window. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience and I would not stay here again."
