"This property really is a hidden gem. Very clean and staff comes in to clean at the same time everyday if you want it. There isn’t staff available all day, however they answer a text through the app quickly. Very roomy and perfect for my trip. I would stay again. "

"We had the most wonderful time at Casale La Gora. Francesca was super sweet and helpful!
We spent 5 nights there and enjoyed every second of it. The room was spacious and comfortable, I missed a bench or couch at night when we were relaxing and extra pillows would have been handy, however the house has two guest lounge rooms with comfy sits.
Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed the variety of different deserts/cakes every day. Our host made sure there was always well stocked and she made a...

"Stunning property in a cute hilltop town. Garden with tables and lounge chairs to have breakfast or hang out in the evenings. The rooms have nice details and good quality beds. "

"Great place to stay. The manager (or owner, I am not sure) was very helpful and accomodating, pointing us to the best places to visit/park in Florence city. There were great breakfast options on site and the rooms are very clean despite not being a 5-star hotel. Thank you for hosting us during our 1-night stay in Florence!"

"Overall, we had a good stay. The welcome was kind and friendly, and we appreciated the effort to make us feel comfortable from the start.
The setting is charming, with decor that feels truly authentic and thoughtfully done, giving the place a warm and unique character. However, there are a few things to be aware of. The walls between rooms are quite thin, so noise travels easily — we could clearly hear our neighbor snoring during the night. The bed was okay, but not the most comfortable we’ve...

"The location is good , 10 minutes walking to Florence dumo and cathedral , very old building , the room was very strange with steps inside it to get in and steps to bathroom, smell was very bad in the room , AC was strange with very high sound and fixed in the middle of the room with hose with big gallon for water drainage beside it in the room which makes room very strange, the staff were good and cooperative."

"I really wanted to give this hotel 5 stars. The room was spotless, the atmosphere was fun and social, and the rooftop views were beautiful. Unfortunately, the rooftop bar experience overshadowed an otherwise excellent stay.
We paid €50 for the upgrade package, advertised as 2 rounds of 2 drinks. When we presented our card, the waitress insisted it covered only basic drinks (worth about €8–10), not signature cocktails, making the package nowhere near its advertised value. After showing my receipt, she reluctantly honored two basic drinks. The next morning, Chiara at the front desk was incredibly helpful and wrote a note confirming we were entitled to two rounds of two drinks from any menu. She was so kind and helpful!
That evening we received our first round, but the waitress kept our card, leaving us with no proof of the second round. As a side note, the signature cocktail itself was 80% gigantic oblong ice cube, 20% drink. But when we tried to order again, she ignored us while serving other tables, and even seated couples in areas she’d told us were reserved for large parties. We felt singled out and unwelcome simply for asking for what we’d paid for.
The front desk later offered a partial refund and complimentary water bottles. My advice: skip the rooftop drink package until it’s managed more consistently. It’s unfortunate that such a great hotel is let down by the rooftop bar. I don’t know if the hotel represents the bar management, but they are attached regardless…"
"The rooms were very clean, plenty of lighting, storage space, & the pillows are amazing. The breakfast was really good & had plenty of variety. The spa & pool were excellent, especially due to the heat. The staff was kind and helpful each day."
"Excellent breakfast, friendly and accommodating staff. This will be the hotel that we will continue to stay at every time we go to Florence. Location was perfect. Everything you need is in reach of 10 minutes."
"The location was perfect, steps away from all of the best sites in Florence. The property was very clean and smelled amazing. The room was spacious and well appointed. The staff helped us get a taxi in the morning and even let me get a drink from the bar even though I didn’t realize a private event was happening. The drinks and food are pricey, as you would expect (about a 10 euro markup from any place else for a spritz), but we would absolutely stay here again."
"Breakfast is good. Pool is lovely. Rooms are big. Service is a little slow. A taxi into town will cost you around EUR 30 if the free shuttle is full."
