Really nice peaceful stay in Sawai Madhopur, away from the main tourist strip. Food at their restaurant is really good. All the safari companies pick you up from here.
Lovely hotel, beautiful pool and gardens. Large spacious room and bathroom. Comfortable bed. Nice little restaurant with a la carte and buffet options. Great staff. Very polite, friendly and helpful. Very peaceful 3 night stay at a very reasonable price.
Highly recommend the little shop in the lobby. Beautiful fabrics and clothing can be made quickly and at a good price. Very helpful staff

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
Overall good. The only thing to do there is a safari. Don’t need to stay long at all. Good good/average. Need a gym for downtime.
The grounds and the pool are lovely and the restaurant staff are very nice too but the hotel is away from the town and the road leading to it is very bad (which makes the taxi drivers charge even more). We had practically no internet during our stay and the tv stopped working on the second day… the taxi the hotel agreed to arrange for us was ridiculously overpriced and when we managed to book one ourselves it was at 50% of their price.
I guess it depends what are you going there for - if you want to cut yourself off from everything that is the place but it’s no good if it’s just a stop in your travels.
We stayed here for 2 nights to go on tiger safari. The property was excellent in all ways. The room was spacious and well appointed. The staff were all very helpful and the hotel was kind enough to let us have a late check out enabling us to enjoy the lovely pool and garden and then be able to change etc before we left in the evening that day. The food ( buffet) was very good and they have an afternoon tea which was a nice touch.
The only real downside is the location which has positives and negatives. It is really in an isolated spot along a long ( as mentioned by others) very poor road. We appreciate that this is not to do with the hotel itself and indeed there are other hotels on the way too - Spree is at the very end. To be honest, Sawai Madhopur is all about the tigers really, so as long as you are happy to just chill at the hotel at other times, and eat the hotel food - which is excellent anyway - then that is all fine. We were definitely happy to do that and had a lovely relaxing break there.
Stayed here for 2 nights, total came to around GBP300/USD370 so GBp150/USD185 per night. Taking into account of the price, this place is pretty terrible. Room is huge but very bare, there's so much dust, the water temperature is cold in the shower even when turned to the hottest I had to come out with shampoo in hair, get into the bathtub awkwardly to wash it off, the toilet is higher than normal toilet, the seat is not fixed and moved whenever one sit on it. I did not want dinner buffet, ordered a la carte and the food was pretty bad. Cannot say I had a good stay.
Lugar increíble, todos muy amables, habitaciones muy grandes y limpias, alberca con agua templada.
Misuri nos dio un gran servicio en el restaurante y toda la comida deliciosa.
No dejen de visitar este hermoso lugar.
Great property and very efficient staff. They were taking into consideration all important WHO guidelines. Cleanliness was also apt.
Overall, will recommend this property for the service and comfort provided.
Restaurant staff friendly but front of house were a bit grumpy. The grounds and pool area were lovely. Food was terrible and we were not made aware that the buffet dinner was a fixed cost that we had to pay regardless of the fact that we ordered off the menu. Also felt pressured to share our private safari Jeep which left a bad taste in our mouths. The hotel is freezing cold and needs heating. We asked for a heater in our room which was delivered quickly. Would not recommend this hotel.
We stayed here for 1 night and I wished we had stayed longer as this was the best part of our trip to northern Indian.
The service was impeccable, the staff were so helpful and attentive. The hotel is set in beautiful surrounding including, well-kept gardens and a large pool and spa. So nice to be away from the roads and traffic noise.
We were greeted with drinks and provided a tour of the site prior to being shown to our room. The room was spacious and clean, with comfortable bed. We had an early morning safari and were provided coffee and cookies before setting off and breakfast service remained open on our return, despite coming back after 10am.
Good food selection for the evening and breakfast. And the only place we visited who could make a nice cup of coffee, which made me tremendously happy.
After a very long journey from Agra, and a early sight of the Taj we arrived at this resort. It's not the easiest to find even with an Indian driver. However the hotel staff on the front desk and concierge made us very welcome. The property is set off the main road and down a dirt track so their oasis of calm was just brilliant. Quiet understated but so welcoming. All the staff are looking to help. They are mainly young keen and quietly enthusiastic.
It's a super deal to have effectively an all inclusive on meals with the rooms. Great value.
The property has an excellent pool for all, surrounded by rooms. The separate properties are vilas in the grounds all within easy walking of the bar, restaurant, reception and shop. The grounds are 2/3 acres great for families to play out in. Tiger safari tours are bookable via reception but are effectively government controlled. The hotel can tell which zone you are exploring but can't pick one and nor can you. Tigers are most frequently seen in April May before the rains.
Breakfast is Buffett style but variations are no problem, lunch and dinner are the same but choice is ample for all dietary requirements. Service is very efficient and the young teams all work really hard for you to enjoy to the maximum. Dharamsingh was just a brilliant caring waiter very professional.
Poolside is with good clean loungers all with super cushions and towels. The area is presented by the pool staff very well and again parasols placed where you need one e
