"DeSoto is a lovely property. The bellmen/valet were so gracious. The act they really like their jobs.
Convenient valet parking. The $53/daily was a little much, but valet service was superb."
"We had to call the desk to get our room cleaned. We stayed 4 nights and got sheets changed twice.
We were supposed to get free breakfast vouchers for the restaurant. Nobody told us until we overheard another guest talking about it. That happened on our last day. We had already paid for three breakfasts.
Still, the staff were friendly. I would consider staying here again."
"My only real complaint was the room. After an 20 hour day, I went to get in bed and my bed didn’t have a fitted sheet. With it being so late and a long day I decided to use the non fitted sheet. It worked but was uncomfortable. The staff was polite and helpful. The valet service I recommend, even if you stay for one night like we did."
"We loved this beautiful historic Inn. Absolutely first rate and the food and drinks are top notch. Each room has a ledger for personal thoughts. We laughed because in room 402 everyone mentions the incredibly squeaky bed !!

"FOR HOW EXPENSIVE IT WAS I REALLY WAS EXPECTING MORE FROM A MARRIOTT. WE CHECKED IN AT ONE BUILDING AND THE ROOM WAS IN THE NEXT ONE, THEY HAD VALET OUT IN THE PARKING LOT I REALLY THOUGHT THEY WOULD TRY AND OPEN THE DOOR FOR YOU. THE ROOM WAS CLEANED DAILY BUT MAINLY EMPTY GARBAGE AND TAKE TOWELS, NO CLEANING UP GLASSES OR VACUMMING. WHEN I GOT THE BILL THERE IS DAILY CHARGES I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT THEY ARE. EXPECT TO PAY HIGH CHARGES AT THEIR BARS AND RESTRAUNTS"
