The hotel is located about 5 minutes walk away from the old town area. The room was large and clean and had all the facilities I needed and more for a weekend break. It was also in a very quiet area. I would recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of staying in a good quality central Sarajevo hotel at anytime.

Central Hotel is very well located almost walking distance to everything you might want to visit in Sarajevo. The rooms are quite spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is good including fresh coffee all the time. Me and my wife had a pleasant stay and we will definitely come back to that hotel.

This hotel has wonderful, quirky architecture, particularly the main lobby. While the hotel has a retro feel, the room I stayed in was recently renovated, clean and comfortable. The location is excellent, being close to the bus station and with lots of local amenities. Staff were friendly and efficient. The breakfast was plentiful, good quality and with lots of variety. This hotel was built for the 1984 Winter Olympics, and was home to the press during the Seige of Sarajevo, so it has plenty of...

Our stay was wonderful at Hotel Berr. The location is excellent for the Old Town, quiet and close to amenities. Breakfast was good, just would be nice to have the option of some fruit and other cereals as well. Staff were very pleasant and helped with any queries. Only downside was the room itself wasn’t very clean, there were a few hairs and marks in the bathroom and dust in the bedroom. But overall a pleasant stay.

Sarajevo, a city steeped in history and culture, offers a wealth of experiences for discerning travellers. Start your journey at Baščaršija, the old bazaar, where winding cobblestone streets lead you to traditional artisan shops and enchanting cafés. Here, you can sip on a cup of Bosnian coffee while watching craftsmen create intricate copperware. Next, visit the Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque, a stunning 16th-century architectural gem that reflects the city's rich Ottoman heritage; its serene courtyard is perfect for quiet contemplation. A short stroll will take you to the Tunnel of Hope, an underground passage that played a crucial role during the Siege of Sarajevo, providing a poignant glimpse into the city’s resilient spirit. For a panoramic view, ascend to the Yellow Fortress, especially magical at sunset when the city is bathed in golden hues. Finally, immerse yourself in the vibrant local culture at the Sarajevo Film Festival, where you can mingle with fellow film enthusiasts and enjoy cutting-edge cinema from the Balkans and beyond. For accommodation, consider staying in the charming Baščaršija area, where boutique hotels offer personalised service and a taste of local hospitality. After a day of exploration, retreat to a hotel that features traditional Bosnian décor and modern amenities, ensuring both comfort and an authentic experience.
