Despite this slight morning bottleneck, the property remains a highly recommended, tranquil base for anyone visiting the town or the nearby Douro Valley."

"Staff were fabulous, special thanks to Ana, Bruno and Rita. Hotel was nice but tired, needs some TLC. Hotel is good for 2 nights, as dinner menu only changes every other day. Breakfast was satisfactory. As the accommodation was listed as a “wine hotel” we were expecting wine tastings and a sommelier."
