"Lovely hotel resort-spotlessly clean. We had a studio which was very spacious with a very large bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. It was the best of both worlds- I like an apartment and my friend who I travelled with prefers a hotel so we opted for the studio ( which was like an apartment) with breakfast as an extra .The breakfast was excellent ( good choice of gluten free items ) and you could get lunch / dinner if required . We only ate dinner there once and were a bit disappointed with the food which was surprising as the breakfast was so nice. The staff were great-so helpful . My friend broke her sunglasses and they repaired them for her. A big plus (and it maybe the time of year as we went just after the school holidays) was that there was no scramble for sunbeds. There were always lots available at any time of day. The hotel is about a 30 minute walk to the marina or a 5 minute taxi ride - we sometimes booked an uber and it was about 5 euros . Overall we loved our stay here- our only small issues were that there was no mirror in close proximity of a plug so difficult to dry your hair, and our balcony was very small and set back between 2 buildings so not a great view. If a balcony space is important to you the 1 bed apartments seem to have a bigger / better balcony or maybe contact the hotel direct to ask for one that is not set back like ours . "

"The W Algarve delivered all it ‘said in the tin’ and then some. For those like me who are always skeptical when reviewing the hotel provided pictures, I can say that the rooms, the surrounding, the facilities, and the pleasant staff are exactly as described and portrayed. I needed a end of summer refreshing retreat and break for my family of five and it delivered from the moment we walked in to our final goodbyes! Perfect way to end the summer break. Thank you W! "

"Beautiful hotel. Superb main pool and also adults only pool area. Excellent spacious spa area with lovely free form indoor pool and large sauna and steam room. Lots of space both inside and outside so even when full there was plenty of opportunity to find quiet areas. Staff were very friendly and helpful in particular Alberto at reception. Would highly recommend."
