Staff were more than friendly and the rooms were clean and modern with a rustic charm. Breakfast was plentiful with a good range of hot and cold options. Restaurants were easily walkable and the food was delicious. Overall a great place to stay.

We loved our stay at the Boathouse. The owners are so friendly and helpful. We stayed in the garden suite which was two co-joined rooms and a gorgeous shady courtyard to relax in. It’s was perfect. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the pool and breakfast is lovely. Would definitely stay again. Thank you!

A lovely hotel with amazing staff, who couldn’t do enough to help you. Fresh breakfast each morning you can see being cooked from scratch onsite vs pre prepared. Lovely little bar makes the most amazing mojitos. Rooms large and clean. Recommend.

This was a great cozy small hotel right across the beautiful black sand beach. Top restaurants a stone throw away, nice shops a short stroll distance. The staff was excellent, professional and friendly. We highly recommend this hotel.

The is on the south eastern side of the Santorini island; a street full of hotels and restaurants overlooking the beach. Free breakfast, good staff and since we had a rental car we could move around the island freely. There is no parking on the facility, rather in the entire street; you will have to park in the side streets and walk which is not too bad. Best location to watch sunrise.

The town is under the landing pattern for the airport so we saw and heard planes landing. But the town is very alive and walkable and so different then Oia. The hotel's front desk was wonderful. We had to catch a 4 am taxi for our flight and they arranged it and gave us fruit and muffins for breakfast to take with us. We received a free bottle of wine which we drank on our balcony. The pool is a wonderful oasis after the difficulties getting in and out of the water at the beach (shallow slippery for a long stretch). The bar at the pool made it easy to have a drink at the pool.

Lovely hotel would recommend

The staff are amazing very very welcoming and friendly. The rooms are lovely, comfortable, loved the bathrooms. The rooms at the back are dark, no tvs not that it bothered me just never had that before. The airplane noise is excessive and intruding but that is the only negative. Beach is right in front and so many wonderful restaurants

First trip to Greece, first solo holiday in a foreign country. This was absolutely the best choice. It’s family owned and operated, so cozy and relaxing. The staff is kind and attentive without being intrusive. By the 3rd morning they had noted that I liked lemon water and someone always had limes or lemons available in the morning. I would def recommend. The room was perfect. Clean, simple with a patio overlooking the pool area. It’s so cozy, yet the natural beauty of the place- the overhanging Flowers, the pretty little nooks… so serene. The hosts are happy to help with questions, laundry service was handy. It was absolutely lovely and hard to leave.

Best Kamari Hotel

This was a fantastic place to stay for our Santorini trip. The location couldn't have been better and being able to hear the ocean at night from our room was a nice bonus. The Boathouse is located in between the two main restaurant “districts” so it is close to everything yet still isolated enough to be peaceful. Within 5 minutes, you can walk to shopping or pubs. The bus station is an easy 7 minute walk and for €2 per person you can get almost anywhere on the island. The breakfast was fantastic at this hotel as was the tiki bar. Great people and great conversations. The owners are so kind and generous and gave us lots of tips on where to eat and what sights to see. I hope I get to return to Santorini and, if I do, I’m staying at The Boathouse.

Unfortunately for us the flight arrived late, but someone waited for us at the hotel and everything was fine! There is free parking a few hundred meters away. This hotel is beachfront and very close to the airport and all day you can see planes arriving and departing, but it's not that annoying. Continentals must remember that everywhere on the island it is not possible to throw toilet paper directly into the toilet! We had a large room with a patio, front pool and sea view. The pool is very relaxing with very comfortable sunbeds and the hotel even provides towels! There is also a bar. Every morning you can enjoy a high-quality breakfast directly in front of the swimming pool. All the employees are very friendly and you will love them all! Just outside the hotel you can find many restaurants, markets, shops with really everything you need and more. This is a great location with a car to visit the whole island avoiding crowded Fira or a little less Oia without missing the lovely little Eros beach to the south. You have to go!
