"Excellent experience! Delicious breakfast and a very friendly staff! The internet connection wasn't stable but the experience made up for that. All the greenery around was amazinggggg! "

"The views are stunning, but a few details could be improved, especially for what seems to be a luxury stay. Some parts of the room felt a bit worn. The curtains were falling apart, and the kitchen light bulb hung so low that I kept hitting my head on it. The staff could also be a bit more welcoming, and the breakfast left room for improvement, as the bread was hard on both mornings. The room service meals were tasty, although quite expensive, like most things at the hotel, but I can understand why. On a positive note, the spa was fantastic, and it was a nice touch that the staff offered to warm it up before we arrived. We also really enjoyed that the kayak was available free of charge. It was a great experience and we had a lot of fun using it. Parking was somewhat challenging due to the limited space and the rough condition of the road. There is also a very sharp turn when leaving the property that forces you to reverse before continuing, which makes maneuvering a bit tricky. Overall, we had a great time and I would come back."

"The hotel is very nice. I mean the only thing to do is relax by the pool and eat unless you leave the resort. 1 to 2 days max is plenty. The service is great, the food menu needs improving and I didn’t think the food was all that. To be honest it’s average at best. I had great company so I really enjoyed myself. The one man music group was wonderful on Saturday night. "

"Never again, visited for the weekend. Disappointed, if you are looking for food options, the breakfast buffet was lame. They had Colombian rice with beans , soup, and potatoes, breads, fruits, but rice and beans at a Hotel Called The Brown??? For breakfast??? Not only that but 80% of the people eating were with guest bracelets and were locals which were young men with women that had fake butts. The staff not very friendly typically and not on top of the guest as you would think in a place like they describe. Save your money and time and go to Sofitel Baru. "

"This hotel rose above my expectations. The staff is extremely friendly, the service is exceptional, & the room was very clean and spacious. The view from this hotel was beautiful. The cook to order free breakfast was exceptional. The dinner service was exceptional with reasonable prices. I booked a massage and I would do it again, I appreciated that I was able to book that service very last minute. The hot tub was delightful at the end of the night. Overall I would stay here again but for more time."
