Everything is great

The entire resort was great! The room was nice, the staff were super friendly and helpful, the food and drink selection was very diverse. The grounds and resort generally are gorgeous. About the only thing I was not thrilled with was the pools and swim-up bars closing at 6pm, but I imagine there is a liability reason for that. Plenty of other things to do to relax though, and other bars remain open. Will always remember my visit to this resort fondly.

Everything was perfect, clean, nice stuff, very friendly, beach was great but the only thing that nobody mentioned is the sea. Water is calm but looks like lake, muddy lake. People very complaining about jellyfish bites and we saw a lot of fish in a shallow water that looked like puffer fish.

My rooms was very clean, the staff was great. They were warm, pleasant and eager to serve without being annoying or overly friendly. Room amenities were natural and just nice. The entire resort is beautiful. The beach is wonderful and the pools are spectacular. Food was good and fresh. Daytime activities were fun but I must say this. They need to add after dinner entertainment not just a saloon style pool hall and bar. They need an early dance hour to give early birds an opportunity to dance Bachata, Salsa and Merengue…like other resorts…local music from 7-9 outdoors. Not everyone wants to start at 11 pm. Some of us want to sleep by midnight and be up early to enjoy the morning beach or excursions. Otherwise, this is a great resort.

The room is spacious and the lobby is pretty. The location has an amazing night time view from the terrace. The buffet was ok and the Dominican restaurant was very good. They don’t have water bottles at the restaurants or buffet so you have to bring your own either you buy bottles from outside or bring the ones included in your room fridge. The resort itself has no activities aside from the pool, the beach and a nightly show on the terrace. The shows are loud and you will hear the music really loud in your room until about 11:30pm the pool water is not heated and the hot tub basically has cold water in it too. The beach is public and the water was so dirty. Floating food, cans and bottles among other things. Our toilet had to get repaired because it would not flush, the soap bottle glued to the wall fell off with one pump and the safe deposit box did not want to lock. The shower door is useless and water falls all over the floor. Overall it was just ok and I would not stay here again.
