"Road in was a little bumpy but well worth the drive. Amazing views of the valley, sunrises and sunsets. Breakfast was very good, with fresh juice and fruit, fresh croissants and bread and unique spreads for them. Dinners are optional. We have three, one each night. They were all unique and very good."

"I stayed 3 nights, room was cleaned every day. Great quiet spot to base out of if you are traveling around Alentejo. The town is very cute and there are lots of beaches in each town around the alqueva. It is worth driving around for a day to see all the small villages. There are some great food options around town as well. I did not eat breakfast here but they do have a Continental breakfast area."

"Quinta do Paral hotel and winery is one experience you do not want to miss. From the moment we arrived and were greeted by staff and treated to a glass of their lovely wine we knew we were going to enjoy our stay. The rooms are modern and beautiful designed and decorated. You experience the sense of calm created by the beautiful landscape and the architecture of the hotel. The staff are excellent and the service is 5-star. The restaurant creates the perfect ambiance for dining and the food is creative and beautifully prepared and presented. Would like to thank Andreia, Marta, Bruma and Sofia for making our stay a memorable one. Would also like to thank the chef and his staff for our wonderful dining experiences. We look forward to our next stay. "
