Kayaking along the coast of Sesimbra and Setubal, Portugal 🛶 One of the best experiences I had in Portugal was to do an AirBnB experience and go kayaking along the cliffs south of Lisbon. I’m not athletic by any means, so the experience was pretty tiring for my poor arms, but the views, the water and the beach we stopped at for some packed lunch and well deserved rest were extremely worth it! Especially since the water in Portugal is way too cold to actually go in (in my opinion, as someone who is definitely not used to cold Atlantic ocean waters) and this was the closest I actually got to the water. The mountains, sea and bright sunshine create a majestic atmosphere that can be admired from several magical spots: from the castle, the cliffs, Cavalo Fort or from the Quinta de Palames. This village’s heritage dates back to Pre-historic times and has been ruled by Romans, Visigoths and Moors.

Clean room, friendly staff, walkable to tourist attractions and dining and shopping, parking was convenient but very tight There is a fire station next to the hotel so the sirens were sometimes loud during the night
