"My family and I had a very enjoyable stay at the Ayres Lodge in Alpine. We were looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway, and this hotel delivered perfectly. After a long drive from Phoenix, we especially appreciated the hotel's convenient location right off of Interstate 8. While it was a bit of a drive to reach Pacific Beach, Mission Beach, and Miramar National Center during the day, the quiet and comfort of the Ayres Lodge was well worth it.
The facility itself was very quiet, and the lobby was a comfortable, cozy space where my kids enjoyed reading their books. The breakfast was satisfactory, and it was great to have convenience stores and a variety of restaurants nearby for other meals. For recreation, my children loved swimming at the pool, and I appreciated the convenience of the small but well-equipped gym.
We also noted the useful amenity of a shuttle providing rides to the local casino. While we didn't use it this time, it's a great option to have, and we may take advantage of it on our next visit.
Overall, we had a very pleasant and restful stay. The Ayres Lodge offers a great escape from the hustle and bustle, while still being conveniently located for those traveling through or exploring the area. We would happily return"
"Hotel is an oasis in the desert. The rooms were cool & the pool lovely. It was out of season when we visited so the dining options were limited but tasty."
