Check-in was fast, the reception staff spook OK English. Breakfast was OK, but not excellent. Shower head was broken. Reported but not fixed. Stayed for 4 nights. Good value for the price.

The best hideaway in the middle of the city
This is an amazing place! Breakfast is terrific. The room was quiet, large, and well done and the staff is more than helpful. They literally have 3 rooftop terrace and it’s located on the edge of the historic district walkways to give you. Perfect escape from any crowds. An oasis truly

This was an excellent choice. The hotel is very simple but nice and classy. Excellent location, I will love to go back to it and have the chance to enjoy the pool and other facilities. Very good stay.

Not a good experience
We arrived at the hotel and the staff informed us that do to a pluming issue we would noty be able to stay there. No other possible room to stay in. We were only offered another room in a partner hotel called Casa del faro. The condition of the hotel was not good. It was deteriorated and the decoration looked old. The pool area needs a lot of work. The room had a bad smell and we were not given another option as to where to stay. The staff was helpful and tried to be as useful as they could, but it was definitely not satisfactory.

Pros: Excellent location a quick walk to the core of restaurants and bars in Centro Historico Friendly and helpful staff. Front desk fluent in English. Room/bathroom/shower look modern and clean Hot water shower with good pressure Comfortable bed A/C works great Generous supply of shampoo and shower gel provided Nice selection of meals offered for free breakfast Hotel entrance is securely guarded by front desk 24 hours Cons: Noise from other guests slamming their doors frequently during the night Hot tub wasn't operational I didn't see the on-site 24 hour pizza place (?)

We had stayed several times in the sister property. Pros: the personnel is very attentive, and always keen to help. Cons: location, is on a pedestrian street just at the side of a busy intersection, getting taxis can be challenging as they cannot get just in front of the property; it can be quite noisy. I would suggest to provide separate towels for the pool.
