Can absolutely recommend this hotel. Very romantic, great decorations and good location for walks in city centre. A nice love nest for shorter stays.

After being put in a room that was in bad shape, staff took care of us and put us into a room that was well taken care of. The owner and his family are very attentive and try to make guests feel welcome. While the swimming pool is small, it's located on a very nice rooftop ambiance which is semi-private. Hotel food is of good quality and reasonably priced.

This hotel gets 5 stars for the staff, who were friendly, helpful, and caring. They definitely do everything they can to make your stay pleasant. Our room was clean and comfortable and was cleaned every day. This is definitely a quaint old colonial style building, that is very quirky. The location is less than a block from the beach and very convenient for many restaurants. The only cons are the overuse of fake flowers everywhere, and the breakfast that gets pretty boring after a couple of days. But overall, we enjoyed our stay here and would return if we ever revisit Santa Marta.

expensive run down hotel

It is waaay too expensive for what it is. Everything is run down. Looks like they haven't maintained it for years. Also very dirty. We found a gigantic cockroach, a spider, and many ants in our room. The staff is OK. The bartender is great and speaks perfect English. Also, they try to scam you with tours. During breakfast a rude employee lied to us we couldn't get to Tayrona by car because of a road closure and the only way to get there was by boat with him.

Sejour à Santa Marta.

Hotel boutique dans le centre historique de Santa Marta. Situé à une centaine de mètres de la mer qui est visible depuis la terrasse. Bon rapport qualité-prix. Le seul problème, mais assez fréquent dans les vieux bâtiments en Colombie, les chambres ne sont pas très lumineuses car donnant sur un patio intérieur.
