Our stay at hotel casa mia was very nice. The staff were very nice and the room was clean and comfortable. The proximity to the beach and ahopping was perfect. We had a pleasant stay, thank you.

The staff or very nice and accommodating the room was Very nice and well organized having everything we needed. They have hot water! The only disappointment was the pool which actually was a hot tub, but it still was enjoyable. The location was fantastic with everything needed within a minute or two's walk! I can't say enough good things about the staff, Thank you for being so accommodating! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to be close to the dining, shopping, and convenience of being in the historical district of Santa Marta.

Hotel is small but beautifully decorated with nice touches in room. The windows in the room are facing a corridor so usually kept closed so not much illumination or ventilation. Small pool at the top is a plus to relax at the end of the day. Walking distance to main sites in the city.

The staff were lovely and the room was stunning but there were a LOT of ants everywhere, including in the bedroom and all around the dining area at breakfast. Around the hotel there were a lot of homeless people and people who were on drugs or drinking early in the morning. Other than that it was a good stay, the pool is lovely and the air conditioning in the room was great.

Great location and affordable, too.

Great hotel for the money, clean and spacious. However, the "windows" opened up onto the passageway, zero privacy if shutters opened. More important, I prefer hotels that have no gym locker lock on the front gate, that only the receptionist has the key to. One is either locked in, or locked out 24/7, if the receptionist is elsewhere. What happens in an emergency? Why do hotel owners do this?

This property is more like a hostel aesthetic, but everyone has individual rooms and bathrooms. Certainly was not what I was expecting. The bathroom was dirty and could do with a total renovation. There was grunge in every corner of the bathroom and the shower. I was very uncomfortable and checked out the next day and went to stay somewhere else. It just was not the place for me personally.

El hotel es bonito y las personas que nos atendieron fueron muy atentas y amables. Sin embargo tuvimos problemas con la habitacion, ya que no le realizaron limpieza ni en el baño ni en la cama, solo estaba tendida pero sin haberle hecho cambio de sabanas. Aunque nos colaboraron y la chica que estaba de turno solucionó rápido, la verdad desde alli el hotel no dio sensación de limpieza sino de incomodidad

El hotel canceló unilateralmente la reserva el mismo día. Pese a que mi reserva indica que el pago se realizaba en el hotel, intentaron hacer el cobro por adelantado y no pudieron hacerlo, su pasarela de pagos, por motivo que desconozco estaba fallando con mis tarjetas. Acordé con ellos realizar el pago al llegar al hotel e incluso gestioné con ellos la recogida de un taxi en el aeropuerto. Pocas horas antes de llegar, me escriben WhatsApp diciendo que no tengo habitación. Tras muchos intentos de contactar con ellos por WhatsApp y por a teléfono, para saber a qué atenerme, consigo hablar con alguien que me dice que su sistema informático al no estar pagada la reserva por la mañana libera la habitación y que no puede hacer nada. Mal si es cierta la razón, peor no ofrecerme asistencia a encontrar un hotel puesto que no ellos no tenían mas habitaciones. Yo estaba de tránsito con vuelo incluido y la cancelación me la dicen por la tarde cuando por la mañana nada hacía pensar que esto fuera a pasar. Estrés mayúsculo de encontrar un nuevo hotel para el día. Imposible ingualmente contactar con hoteles.com con el que hice la reserva, si atención es por chatbot o teléfono 900 no accesible desde el extranjero. Mi “contrato”con hoteles.com era para pago de la reserva EN El HOTEl

Disappointing service

The hotel could have been great, but the service and check in were awful. The check in person was incredibly rude and gave us a much smaller room than we'd paid for. He didn't even speak to us (we understand Spanish, so it wasn't a language issue) and refused to help carry our bags or provide any assistance at all. There was also no hot water. The room itself was lovely and the breakfast was tasty, but we changed to a different hotel after one night.

No era lo que esperaba, el personal amable, en el cuarto asignado, no contaba con armario para ubicar la ropa. El mueble para colocar la maleta solo cabe un maletín pequeño. El ventilador no se puede apagar ni prender por ningun lado. No habia toalla para secarse las manos y tampoco existe secador de cabello. Desayuno bueno.

Everyone was excellent. All staff were very helpful, attentive. Clean small hotel. I would definitely come back to this hotel if I ever visit santa marta again. Well worth it, close to all. Neighborhood feels safer too. Muchas gracias!

2nd time staying here (before and after tayrona Park) Awesome hotel, super comfortable beds, fantastic showers, super comfortable spacious rooms that are modern and beautiful decorated. Really nice kind helpful staff and the breakfast is delicious!! The mini pool is also so nice and relaxing. They also Let us store our bags when we went to tayrona. So kind! Santa marta is such a fun town and we would definitely stay at casa Mia again! We loved it.

Beautifully decorated hotel with lovely room. Comfortable mattress and hot water for the shower- most of the coast doesn’t get adequate hot water so this was a welcome surprise.

A fantastic stay at a lovely boutique hotel!

Truly wonderful stay at Casa Mia, it is a beautifully decorated hotel room. A lovely free breakfast is included and you are right in the center of town. The hotel staff were so helpful with anything we needed. Highly recommend!
