Our family of four love this place! It is a real gem, conveniently located next to a park with plenty of great restaurants and a convenient store. The hotel itself is perfect for kids and a peaceful sanctuary. It’s clean and gorgeous without feeling stuffy. I highly recommend spring for The rooms their pool side. This is my second time at this hotel. Place is relaxing, beautiful landscaping, breakfast is great , rooms clean and comfortable, plenty of hot water for showers, air-conditioning was nice and cool. I would highly recommended.

The property is really nice and the chef/food was brilliant. The hotel service was hit and miss. They ask you to leave your keys when you leave the hotel and when we came back very tired and messy from a beach hike we waiting 15 minutes as we rung the bell and yelled at the front gate before anyone came. The power also all went out one day and we were told they didnt know when it would come back so we had to leave.

The property is well appointed and clean. The rooms are simple the fan and air conditioning serve you well in the humid Colombian temperatures. The breakfast is ok for a veggie but does not offer anything for vegans. The hotel offers shared fridge and kitchen. You cannot walk into town but can get an Uber for 8-12000 pesos (£1.75-£2.50)z

A serene stay

Although a little further from the beach, hotel Camali offers a safe and resort like experience in Santa Marta. The staff was accommodating and helpful. The pool and restaurant up kept and serviced nicely. AC in the room was working just fine. The bed was comfortable and the Wi-Fi, they have five routers which was important to my husband as this was a work trip. Or is located next to a small park that offers weekend liveliness and a few restaurants but during the weekdays shuts down promptly by 11, earlier than many of the Coastal party cities. I would recommend it to my friends and family

The hotel is beautiful, staff is super helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good and they serve several options, we did have lunch one day and food was average, I suggest taking the time to eat elsewhere if possible. The property is in a safe place, but talking a walk from there to Parque de Los Novios was very lonely so it was a bit scary, good thing Uber and taxis are always nearby and are cheap to move around. The hotel overall is good, although we had to keep asking for toilet paper since it was not provided after regular cleaning was done, and well, we were there several days, staff of course provided more when asked but one would assume that they could restock you on TP when cleaning if they see you are running out. I would definitely recommend this place.
