We really liked the apartment and the design. Especially the terrace was beautiful. The room had everything we needed including towels and sheets, free water bottles, mini bar, pay tv, safety box, etc and was cleaned every day. Bathroom and shower were really spacious. The location of Casa Mono is just outside of San Augustinillo, approx. 10-15 mins walking. Our host Gaby was very friendly and communication always impeccable. Thanks for having us!

Un Sueño en Playa San Agustinillo

Casa Mono is a wonderful escape, a few minutes walk up a hill from a quiet part of Playa San Agustinillo. It's a bit hard to understand the location. The house is perched on a hill on the south east part of the beach, the opposite end of all the beach businesses. This makes for a wonderfully quiet location but you will need to walk along the beach or the road to get supplies (which is all good, but just know this). The house itself feels almost brand new. Everything works well and is very comfortable. The owners have stocked the house with books/magazines, beach supplies (towels, umbrella, air couch and cooler) and a mini bar. They are very responsive and clearly want to make your stay as pleasant as possible. I would totally stay at Casa Mono again and would heartily recommend to friends.

One of my favorite rooms

This place was amazing. Clean, close to the beach and town, hot water! Fridge, hammock, blue tooth speaker, beach towels, everything! Love this place and will return. There are only two rooms in the building, one downstairs and one upstairs, owners live off premises.

J’ai été très déçue par cet établissement. Principalement à cause du fait qu’il n’etait pas situé là où il est annoncé sur expédia et sur google map. L’endroit est très retiré du centre de san augustillino. Selon la map, il semblait être à 10-15 minutes de marche, mais il est plutôt à 25 minutes de marche. Pour une personne seule, le chemin pour s’y Rendre à pied devenait impossible à pratiquer de soir, à la marche. Aussi, il était indiqué dans la description qu’il y avait un bain tourbillon dans chacune des chambres. Mais ce n’est pas le cas. La chambre du haut (avec la vue) ne possède pas de bain tourbillon. Ceci dit, si vous voyagez en couple ou entre amis, et que vous souhaitez être retirés, ça peut être bien. Le prix est tout de même un peu cher pour ce que c’est.
