During our 3 night stay the elevator was out of service. Lugging our luggage up stairs was not fun …. Hopefully it will fix by our next visit . We will visit again next year . Enjoyed the breakfast

Good bargain in the heart of Santa Cruz. Large, clean rooms. Yes, parking is $16.50 per day, but it’s convenient and far better than driving around hoping for a place for two-hour parking. Recommend without hesitation. Oh, breakfast included and OK in a pinch.

Hotel rooms are spacious and clean. However, the rooms I stayed in didn’t have windows and that’s important for me. The walls are thin and can hear people outside my room at night and on top. Spacious rooms for families, parking fee for every night.

The hotel was nice. It was clean and quiet. Unfortunately the elevator was out of service and I had to get my bags up and down 3 flights of stairs and there was no offer to help. I’m a 60 year old woman and would have appreciated some assistance. However, I would stay here again I do have 2 complaints. First, the breakfast; it was not good at all. A very limited selection and the little that was available was not tasty The second complaint is about the front desk staff. The evening/early morning staff was very helpful and pleasant however the day shift was unhelpful and on one day, the attendant was rude and clearly was unhappy to be at the desk.

Their parking garage is very hard to maneuver and it took us a long time to be able to park our car as it has super tight spaces. And there is a nightly parking fee which I thought should be complimentary. It is not as close to the beach or boardwalk as mentioned, it’s at least 20-25 mins walk. But the staff was super helpful and their breakfast was really good. Very clean and well maintained overall.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious although we were given an ADA room so I can't compare to the regular rooms. Breakfast was buffet and had as assortment of breakfast items. The location was about a 15 minute walk to downtown.

While we have stayed here before, it was a quick trip, so if the room was as dirty last time as it was this time, we didn’t notice. There was hair all over the floors. I’m pretty sure the pull out bed sheets hadn’t been cleaned as there crumbs all over it. And the door into the bathroom was dirty. Even after I had them come in and clean, the floors still weren’t cleaned. Trying to understand why that’s not a priority? I love the location of this hotel. It’s a mile from the boardwalk and a short walk to bars and restaurants. But they need to door a better job cleaning.
