"Lovely room, get a beachfront one! Great restaurant, pool smaller than you'd think from pics. Lots of seaweed on beach and in the water, not great for swimming but maybe this isn't always a thing. Great pier to relax on. Full moon was a fabulous time to be on the beach"

"The kitchen area was very small with only a few utensils (one plastic beaker) The room also was very small and the linens were old but clean. The only saving grace was the outside courtyard which was very pretty"

"Perfection! Elvis made incredible drinks that was equally esthetically pleasing. The view from our room and every area of the resort was top tier. One of my favorite places we have stay in our 4 trips to Belize. "

"The resort is building a new event center (metal construction), new pool bathrooms as well as remodeling rooms. All the constructions make it very unpleasant to stay around the pool and also the beach. The rooms that are not remodeled are very dated and overpriced! Due to the algae in the water it is not pleasant to swim in the water. The staff were friendly but not very competent! Avoid this resort if you want a quiet and peaceful vacation but even without the construction, we would not go back to this resort. "

"Our room was clean and well maintained. Nice fixtures and little extras around that made it very comfortable. The property was kept clean and was very nice. I think they swept/raked the beach area a few times a day! Pool was great. Restaurant was great. Staff went above and beyond expectations. They were very helpful every time i interacted with them. This is the place to stay when visiting Placencia area!"
