"This hotel was a historic property dating back to the 14th century. Walking the cloisters and hallways was magical. Don’t miss the museum in the crypt below the hotel. So much history, dating back to the Bronze Age. I have never stayed in such an amazing property. Magnificent!"
"Wonderful stay for a family! Our reception was fantastic with the friendliest of staff members. The apartment we stayed in looked to be brand new and was incredibly clean. What a great stay during our trip in Portugal!"

"This property is NOT where it shows on the map, it is 10 minutes down the street and not in the village of Comporta. There is only one AC unit, and the bedrooms get very hot. The house was not clean upon arrival and the cleaning people were still there. The microwave didn't work either. I am still waiting for my refund. The management company is difficult to work with and communicate with. Cute pool though. "

"Fantastic stay. We stayed for a couple of nights but wish we could have had longer to enjoy the views. This is a very special place. We had a wine tasting with Jacinta which was very special - a vertical Verdelho tasting where we drank 5 different vintages . Will be back!"

"The property and staff is OUTSTANDING! Gorgeous! Fabulous service and surroundings!!! ONLY ISSUE is you cannot leave the property to go to dinner or to the beach without paying 110 euros to get there and back. They should have a shuttle to Comporta but do not. No offense to the team it is a gorgeous hotel, pool, restaurant, etc!"
