They need to secure the parking with a fence or security guard at night, too many homeless breaking into vehicles because of the location on harbor blvd….. staff was fantastic.

Stayed for just a quick overnight; but was very happy to see that they had good, quick customer service. The room was very clean and beds were comfortable. Would stay here again.
This hotel charges a parking fee and does not disclose the information when booking the hotel. Hidden additional charges per night for parking should be included into fee when first booking. Hiding the parking charge should be deemed at false advertising for the total amount to stay at this hotel. They only inform you when after you pay for your room. Paying to park $20-$40 extra per night adds up so you might want to look into a higher class hotel with free parking for the same price.

Our parking fees are posted on every booking sight. I'm sorry you didn't see them. We do not fold it in to the room rate, as everyone does not have a car. Our current fee is 15 per space per night. That price is also noted on the parking pass at check in.
The only problem is they changed our room and they gave us some room that didn't have all the amenities in it we wanted.

The only difference in our room type amenities is that some have microwaves, which can also be delivered upon request. Please just check with the front desk for anything else you may need during your stay.
I liked the pool area and the fire pit. The staff were very helpful. The only thing I didn't like was the smell of the first floor. The second floor didn't smell that bad, but the first floor smelled like rotten eggs. Not sure why.

Thank you for your comments. Occasionally when the trash is taken out from all rooms and carried to the bins it can leave a slight odor for a few minutes in the hallway. I am sorry that this occurred during your stay.
The whole property had no hot water whatsoever. They knew about it and said nothing. Then got the runaround when asking for a refund. I understand stuff happens but the way they decided to handle it was terrible.

No water for shower, they said the water issue will be solve soon, sitting in the room waiting for 2 hours but issue is not solved, so I have to cancel and looking for another hotel at last mins… very difficult to find an hotel on the same day! They said they will contact you for my fully refund…

This property needs a remodel bad!! Rooms stink like feet and mold. Very dated and just not typical of other Marriott’s in other markets. Very surprising that Costa Mesa would have this level of hotel.

Thank you for your comments. I hope you enjoyed your brand-new mattress, as that was the first step in our renovation. We are aware that our 2020 renovation has not yet happened, due to circumstances beyond our control. We are looking forward to it starting very soon.
I enjoying the stay. The hotel was clean and the service desk attendant was very accommodating as well as housekeeping. Would book here again for another stay.
