Sant Mateu de Bages Trip

We had water coming through our bathroom light at 11pm at night. We were moved which was fine but no one from management reached out to apologize for the inconvenience. As a matter of fact they sent the keys to the new room up with someone who didn’t even offer to help with anything. We ask for a bag to move waters from our fridge he basically just pointed down the hall and said it’s there. Customer service lacking for sure.

The staff was wonderful and the gentleman at check in was super helpful and friendly. I would rank this hotel more of a 3 or good value. No coffee machine, very few towels although getting more was easy. Only a couple of drawers so no way to really unpack. We were told the pool was open and heated but when we got there it wasn't open. For the price it was good!

My room was very quiet and I enjoyed having the kitchen amenities and the balcony. The bed was average. My only negative comments are related to the unusually excessive daily damage deposit that I wasn’t expecting - big upfront unexpected expense! Also there was no bus cart for me to take groceries up to my room - but the bellmen would do it for a set fee. The pool was lovely, but closed at 7pm, which seemed early to me for summer. I enjoyed my stay, but won’t probably return to this resort.

Room was clean and hotel was clean and services were good. But if you stay at the wynn or palazzo, totally different vibe
