Hotel Palau de Bellavista Girona by URH

"The hotel has a lovely view across Girona although it’s quite a walk up the hill to get there. Very close to the city and public transport. The communal areas are all well maintained however the rooms whilst modern need a little bit of work as they are tired in places. There is a small outdoor pool and sun loungers on the terrace. Staff are all really helpful and polite. Bar staff friendly and helpful. Evening bar food is reasonably priced and perfectly fine. The portion size in the restaurant downstairs was tiny and the atmosphere very quiet, not really worth the extra cost. We didn’t have breakfast but it was always busy."

"Great hotel , rated 3 stars but honestly much better than many 4 star hotels I have stayed in. Pool was lovely and a nice touch having an “honesty “ bar. Lovely breakfast with super choice Near two bus stops into the city though the walk is less than 20 minutes Would highly recommend"

"Everything was great overall. The only extra cost was at the beach, where two sunbeds and an umbrella were about €20 per day. It’s not a big amount, but it’s good to know in advance."

"Très bon séjour au sein de l’hôtel. Emplacement Top, aménagement très bien, propreté très bien, personnel très agréable. Un très bon séjour en famille. Quelques points méritent une petite amélioration : - Animation : moyen, il y a surement mieux à faire pour la journée - soucis des ascenseurs parfois très très long selon les horaires. Merci Alba Seleqtta pour nos très bonnes vacances !"

"The rooms were excellent, spacious, modern and very comfortable. The buffet was also very good, with plenty of choice, and the hotel in general was clean and well maintained. The only reason I have given 4 stars rather than 5 is the price. We paid around £480 for the night, and although we enjoyed our stay, I simply don't think the hotel experience justified that level of pricing. In my view, around £300 per night would have been much more appropriate for this type of hotel. That said, I appreciate we stayed during peak August season and booked at relatively short notice, which will obviously have influenced the rate. Overall, a very good family hotel with excellent rooms and a good buffet, just significantly overpriced for our stay."

"My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. We stayed in a room with an ocean view and it was just wonderful. We used our balcony in the morning, late afternoon and every evening. It was perfect. Staff were friendly and helpful, however the lines were usually long to talk to someone at the front desk. The location was perfect. Very close to the train station and so many shops, restaurants and pubs. We would definitely come back to Santa Susanna and stay here again!"
