Perfect location as the hotel is just on the edge of the town, fantastic setting and the view from the hotel is amazing! Modern and tastefully decorated, rooms were surgically clean! Breakfast was unbelievably good, HUGE range of continental style breakfast and fresh pastries. Would not hesitate to stay here again with friendly staff it made our trip - absolutely fantastic stay!

This hotel is amazing. It’s the best 5 star we have stayed at. The hotel staff are so welcoming and always there to help you. The views are just incredible, we booked a panoramic room and it was definitely worth it. The pools are lovely and the restaurants excellent. The breakfast has everything you could possibly want! Everything is excellent quality and is a lot more reasonably priced than a five star in the UK.

First stop in a weeklong mountain drive through Bavaria and it couldn't have started any better. Easy check-in upon arrival and was told our room would have a balcony with a mountain view. That was an understatement. Balcony was large providing a great place to sit and view the sites in the evening. We arrived at Hotel Sallerhof to snow, quite magical ! The hotel is located in Grodig which is about a 20 minute bus journey into Salzburg an ideal location if you want somewhere quiet and away from the busy city in a beautiful area. The accommodation was excellent and very clean, the hotel staff who speak English are very helpful and provided leaflets informing us of various tours in the area, bus service etc. We could not fault the breakfast which was very varied, usually cereals, cold meats...

Gorgeous setting with fabulous view. Staff welcoming yet unobtrusive. Lovely breakfast of different breads fresh fruit hams and cheeses yoghurts and hot eggs and bacon. Dinner stunning -regional dishes cooked to a fine dining style with locally sourced produce.

Hotel is very old which added to its charm. The buffet breakfast was very good and was very close to the train station. Staff were great and the room was clean

I stayed at the Hyperion during a last minute trip to Salzburg. The hotel is beautiful and the staff amazingly attentive. It is in a brilliant location- across the road from Mirabell palace and gardens and approximately a 10 minute stroll through the gardens and over the footbridge to reach the old town.
