Sands Shopping Center

Bar and restaurant were great! Room is very small, even for NY, mostly in the way it is set up. Walls are quite thin. Instant hot water in the shower and great location.

Clean room and comfortable bed. I was surprised that the hotel is not as renovated as I had expected — it’s nice but not THAT nice as it is an older hotel. The staff is not 5 star like in other high end hotels. For instance, the hostess at the Gold Room was not helpful and prioritized talking with another coworker showing something on her phone, and the housekeeper that brought us a mini fridge at night clearly did not want to be working. The hotel is fine but not a wow.
