"Staff were polite and welcoming, The room was very small with toilet in one corner and shower in another the shaving light did not work and could not be repaired as it was out of date. No breakfast or evening food available despite it being adverisised on their website. The whole ptemises could do with a renivation."

"This is a very comfortable, spotlessly clean and tidy B and B with a great breakfast and very friendly staff. Some really nice touches are the delicious chocolate bars in rooms daily and on the last day a post card appears on your table of one of the excellent pencil drawings by the owner which line the walls of the breakfast room. "We received a warm welcome upon arrival from Kenny and his staff, We had a day a Chester races planned and were struggling to get a taxi so Kenny stepped in to save the day and kindly took us in his car. The rooms were clean, tidy and had tea and coffee making facilities and The En Suite bathroom was well equipped and a decent size with plenty of room in the shower.The bed was very comfortable and there was no noise outside so a good nights sleep is assured. "This is a terrible place for a person expecting a good nights sleep in a clean environment. I ended up staying in what felt a converted shed. It was cold and damp. The bedding felt wet to sleep in as it was so damp. I ended up sleeping in my t-shirt i was so cold. The pillows where brown and dirty. The carpet had not been hovered. The electrics tripped 3 times and i had to keep putting the switch back up. The tv didnt work. I had to keep getting up to use the buttons on the tv itself. The screen...

"Lovely room, perfect for relaxing after a day out walking. Chosen because it was dog friendly and it did not disappoint - good for walking into town and loved that there was a map showing us how to get there by avoiding the main road. Breakfasts were delicious! Thank you for our stay."
