Lovely hotel. Super staff

This is an excellent hotel, with very helpful and friendly staff in both the reception and restaurant. The fine dining was world class and every dish was a flavour and taste bomb

Great stay in Chavignol, Sancerre

Very modern, pretty room and well appointed overlooking rooftops and vineyards. Samantha at the front desk was very efficient, warm and professional. The hotel is in a great location for exploring the many wineries in the Sancerre area.

The perfect hotel experience

This a very good hotel. We had a lovely, spacious room, The bathroom was good and sotlessly clean. From our first contact with the charming young woman on reception, every member of the staff team were friendly, helpful, and gave time to one. We had a fine meal, and, of course, superb wines. We have stayed before, and will, almost certainly again.

Truly wonderful place to stay. Staff and service are excellent. The room we stayed in was very comfortable, clean, and perfect for aquiet peaceful rest. The restaurant is not to be missed.

Nice hotel

Very nice hotel in the village of Chavignol, where there are many wineries with direct sale and tasting options. Good restaurant with nice terrasse right at the town centre. Nice breakfast, fresh fruit, fresh juice, yoghurt, bread, pastries, cheese etc

Great Stay and Dinner in Wine Country

Excellent stay at the hotel restaurant on my honeymoon. Received great service from the staff as an American couple. The type of hotel to stay at if you would like to eat dinner and breakfast on site. The restaurant was excellent. Location is in the village of Chavignol, a few minutes outside of the town of Sancerre. Rooms were comfortable but not luxurious.

Great weekend in Sancerre

Amazing experience in Sancerre. Call the hotel and ask about a reservation at the tasting room- our tour and tasting was included in the price of the room and was well worth the time. Have a bottle of Pouilly-Fume on the patio before dinner.

It’s a charming stop in a small village. A bit old-school inside but it’s part of the charm. We were disappointed that despite staying there, they couldn’t just fit us in (two people) to the family’s wine tour in the morning.

Ok

The property was pleasant and seemingly well-maintained. The bed was fine, and the water pressure in my room was great, however, one member of my team had only a bathtub which was very disappointing. That alone is an issue for our crew so I doubt we would go back. The parking is either on the street or a 2-minute walk up a dark narrow road to an open parking lot. Not ideal at night.
