"Absolutely a slice of paradise on earth! If the Garden of Eden and Swiss Family Robinson had a baby it would be San Simian! Food was best we’ve had in all of Nicaragua. Amazing property with unbelievable terraced gardens down to the pebble beach, where you can go tubing, kayaking or swimming. Our cabana was absolutely huge with a top floor lounge and balcony with views of the lake. Don’t just want to go back, want to move there!!! Will be a regular stop any time we are in Nicaragua. Owner is the most friendly and interesting expat we’ve encountered. Can’t recommend highly enough, was an absolute dream escape!"

"Our family loved this hotel for its colonial charm, walkability to the center of town and to various restaurants and coffee shops. There is a great restaurant that is associated with the hotel that also served a great breakfast. The pool was refreshing. The front desk staff was very helpful in recommending activities. Great laundry service. The room was a nice respite from the heat and with good air conditioning. If you want to see the lively local market, there are a number of vendors only a block down where the locals shop. "

The rooms are amazing—spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed—with beautifully crafted bathrooms that feel luxurious and serene. The pool area is spotless and offers incredible views of the lake and volcano, making it the perfect place to unwind. One of the highlights is the peaceful waterfall, which adds a calming atmosphere and makes it easy to relax and recharge. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making the stay even more enjoyable, and parking is easy and convenient. As for dining, the menu offers a decent variety of options. While dinner didn’t quite meet expectations, breakfast was absolutely amazing and definitely a highlight of the stay.
