San Salvador Trip

The building is a bit old, and the road from the main street to the hotel parking is poorly lighted. The parking for non- member appears rundown, with nearly no light and the road full of holes. The lobby has a place where to get water, but not coffee. The bar, between the pool and the beach, needs some updates. The prices are high and considering that is the only place where you can get coffee (if you do not want to wake up everyone in your room while you use the machine) or lunch/dinner, it easy to ramps up your daily expenses. The food overall is good, but the service is rather slow, but perhaps it is ok since we are on vacation. The gym and the play room are nicely equipped, and there is a large washer/dryer that you can use, free of charge, to clean your clothes. The hotel staff alerts you when the room cleaning is scheduled and you can choose to opt in or out. The green areas, and the beds around the pools are well maintained and the staff is very friendly. The check in and check out process was easy and well organized.

Overall, everything was amazing. Location is great, directly on the beach with its own chair and towel area. Finding a chair was never an issue and the beach was somewhat quiet the whole time we were there. 7 minute uber ride from the airport and 15 minute Uber to Old San Juan. We stayed in the Aire de Olive room and although we had a view of buildings, we also had a great view of the ocean. Room was clean and spacious for a couple. Aesthetic of the room and hotel is beautiful! Every staff member we encountered were eager to help and always had a smile on their face. Special shout out to Diane who made the check in process very easy and seamless. She was informative and a delight to encounter. Do not hesitate to book!
