"Ótima localização, região segura. Hotel confortável, quartos limpos. O único ponto que poderia melhorar é em relação à flexibilidade dos horários do restaurante. No fim de semana o hotel estava com muitos hóspedes que iriam fazer uma prova de concurso público, solicitamos que os horários do almoço no sábado e café da manhã fossem adiantados em 30 minutos, mas não obtivemos sucesso. Entendo que isso impactaria na carga horário dos funcionários, principalmente no domingo, mas poderia ter servido uns minutinhos antes, mesmo que parcialmente o cardápio do café da manhã, mas o horário foi mantido, enquanto não montaram todo o buffet não foi liberado o acesso. "

"The hotel is very nice. Everything is clean and organized. The staff is very helpful. The rooms are very spacious and the beds are all new. The only negative point is the breakfast, which fell well below expectations. But overall, excellent value for money."

"Pros: Pool is amazing and view was great from the rooftop. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Toiletries were good and the kitchen was well-equipped. We enjoyed the breakfast and food was always fresh. Egg options cooked fresh to order. The pão de queijo was the best we had in a hotel in Brazil so far. There is a self-service convenience store which was useful also for a quick coffee or supplies for the room if needed. We used the gym several times and it was well-equipped for a full workout and the equipment was in good condition. Cons: We enjoyed the outdoor pool however there were broken loungers a few days (we forgot to report so perhaps they may have fixed these) and the water was too warm on a couple of days when the air temperature was over 30c. Sadly the music playing during the day was often very heavy and hard electronic and often the speakers would stop during songs. None of these were dealbreakers for us and we would stay again."

"Exceptional staff and a very reliable, clean stay I had a great experience at Matiz. The hotel is simple but very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good, and while the internet was just "ok" (could be a bit faster), it got the job done. What truly set this stay apart was the incredible service. I realized upon arrival that I had accidentally made my Expedia reservation for the wrong date. Instead of turning me away, the staff identified the issue immediately and accommodated me for the correct dates without any hassle. They are an amazing team that clearly puts the guest first. If you are looking for a clean, comfortable place with helpful staff, I highly recommend Matiz."
