The staff was terrible. At the reception the young man barely talked to us or helped us. He gave us a card to open our bedroom door, but it didn't work. We told him and he came to try open the door. However, he had success to open it after several tries. It was obvious the lock was partly broken. We insisted to get another room and we could finally got a room with a kind size bed, which I had previously booked. The room we got was not in good condition and needed to be renovated. The paint was not done behind the TV furniture, the curtains were torn, the armchair was fixed with a large tape, the sink had a crack and the towels were small and used by some many washing, they needed to be replaced. The only thing that was good is the bed; it was clean and comfortable.

Staff at front desk had no courtesy or charm. Wifi didn't work. We had to make a line to check as there was a delay with their online website. There was no customer service aspect to make up for the deficiencies. There seems to be a lack of concern for customer satisfaction.

Great hotel to stay in if you’re looking for a place to stay without the bells and whistles. This place was perfect for my weekend get away. You’re about at 10 min walk to the center of SLO. The service was great and very accommodating when needed.

I was driving 5 hrs from San Diego after work, so I called ahead to let staff know we would be arriving at 12:30. On the phone he said I needed to arrive by 11:30 then hung up…tried again, hung up. Had my husband call from home, and he said “fine, see you then”and hung up. When I arrived, I said I didn’t see on website that we had to arrive by 11:30p. He said “ it takes 5 hours, and I should use this”, and he tapped his head. I said just check me in. At that point, exhausted, and frustrated, I took care of check in and walked away. I’ll never be there again, because I never want to be treated like that again.
