Junior suite was a superb choice for us, they are in a separate block opposite the main hotel block, each has its own garage with door to the suite, steps down to comfortable living area (TV, sofa etc) up to bedroom and en suite. Excellent wifi in the room, superb grounds, a really lovely place to stay. Shuttle bus does not run on Sunday, but hotel organised a taxi quickly, cost under 10 Euro to the cathedral. The hotel was brilliant. The staff were very welcoming on our arrival and always friendly and helpful with excellent advice on the bus stop for Mount Gozo. We really enjoyed the buffet breakfast where a range of food was available and the staff wonderful. Our room had blackout and air conditioning and we slept very well. We caught the bus from the airport to the bus station for 3 euros and walked to the hotel in about 15 minutes all downhill. We walked into the town every day and back again as...

Fantastic experience at the Altair, we were contacted before arrival to confirm our check in time and they then got a room ready early for us. The room itself was extremely large and extremely clean, with a huge bed that appeared to be two queens joined together. Minibar prices were cheap and the room looked very recently renovated, with a lovely combination of wood and exposed brick. Also provided us a kettle and boarding pass printing without charge. Lovely staff.

A true 5 star experience! All member’s of staff were very friendly and helpful . Large room, comfortable beds , great bathroom ( with a bath 😁) Tea / coffee making facilities and complimentary water appreciated. Restaurant was excellent- breakfast was wonderful with a huge choice . We stayed here after completing the Camino de Santiago and it was the perfect hotel to relax and restore our energy .
