Great stay

Great stay. Front desk people were frie dly, and suggested restaurants nearby. The place is great and smells of essential oils. Very close to Centro de Bellas artes, and to Kaiju, an amazing Japanese fusion restaurant nearby.

The hotel accommodation was beyond our expectation. The Front Desk Clerk, Franny was extremely courteous and professional. Perfect. It was very nice inside the building. It was easy to find. The only inconvenience was finding parking. The staff sent me a text message with check-in information. However, they never answered the following questions regarding parking. Nonetheless, I did truly like the hotel. It smelled super clean. Everything was nicely organized. I would stay again. p.s. Loved the two European-style company cars up front.

It’s a beautiful historical hotel with modern amenities. However, we booked it as an overnight stay before leaving for home from the airport. I’d highly recommend it if you are visiting San Juan to party and enjoy the night life. But we had to be up at 3am for our flight and we both got zero sleep. The walls are paper thin and you can hear every roaring engine, every partying group as they walk down the sidewalk, and every loud drunk person that is staying in the hotel as well. They provide earplugs, but even using them, it was no help. WAY TOO LOUD. There are also strange plumbing issues because of the age of the building, so you were not allowed to flush toilet paper and it had to be disposed of in the trash can. Very unsanitary.
