"This hotel was a mixed bag for us. The location was good - only a short walk to the beach and a few minutes from the airport. Despite being close to the airport, I didn't find the hotel too noisy. The room actually seemed pretty quiet. The other positives were the size of the room, the water pressure in the shower, and the breakfast most days was good. It was also great to have a guest laundry available. They do offer access to two beach chairs, but we did not take advantage of that as we found the other side of the beach more peaceful. On the flip side, our room had an unpleasant smell that hit you every time you walked into the room, the shower was open with glass only half way across the shower (had I known this in advance, I would have booked elsewhere as that is a huge hotel pet peeve for me) allowing water to get on the bathroom floor, and there was no fan in the bathroom. Given the ever present humidity, not having a fan in the bathroom was just ridiculous. The beds were okay, on the firm side, but the pillows offered no support. The front desk staff was mostly pleasant, but my husband did have issue with one person. Between the "resort" fee and the parking fee, there is an additional $68 per day. I don't feel like we got any value from a resort fee. Our son ended up being sick for part of our trip, so he did not join us for breakfast. Guests are not allowed to take any breakfast food out of the area, so we could not even fix him a plate and take it to our room."

"Wasn’t our first visit, won’t be our last! We love this resort. Perfect for couples and families. Has never been overcrowded or difficult to enjoy the property and amenities. Restaurants are solid. Coffee shop and market are amazing and super convenient. Rooms are great (both the bungalows and riserva). Love that the main pool is 24 hours. Beach access is easy and comfortable. If you book through Expedia, you’ll be charged an OTA fee. Ours was $117/day."

"Absolutely loved this place. Yes, it’s dated. But it had everything i needed to make my quick getaway enjoyable. A special thank you to Louis at the pool side bar. He was incredible. So attentive and thoughtful. 10/10 service from him. Pools. Jacuzzi. Beach. Everything in walking distance. Not much else you could ask for. Also, thank you to Melany, Angel and Andres for the daily text check ins and quick fixes when needed. Definitely returning. "
