"Hotel Victoriano is a gorgeous hotel. They take really great care of the grounds and the hotel itself. Everyone that worked there was amazing. Carlos was especially helpful. "Have stayed here many times without incident. Always gave 5 star rating previously. Unfortunately the recent problems in Nicaragua have affected this hotel negatively. We were the only clients during our 2 night stay. Pool was not clean, rather milky white water too questionable to enter after we saw it in light of day. Room OK no complaints. "The location is fabulous- we were in one of the Cangrego units right by the beach & loved it. That being said, our experience with the hotel wasn't 100% positive. We had arranged for a taxi from the hotel to meet us at the border, but were met first by a scammer, who greeted us by name, so we thought he was the taxi driver.
