Pure luxury, and such amazing surroundings! The staff were amazing and the whole experience was just beautiful.

Amazing place to stay. Simple and unpretentious. Clean, comfortable and modern. Great views (room and bar terrace) and nice staff. Glamping pods are separate from the main house and feel very private and secluded. Beautiful setting overlooking the hills and vineyards. Room (Olive suite) had a coffee machine and mini fridge with complimentary drinks/snacks. Large outdoor wrap-around terrace which got sun all day and late into the evening. Views overlooking the vineyards and rolling hills....

Fantastic hospitality and service. We booked a one night stay (very late as we were at the superb vineyard down the road and arrived after just 2 hours later) but this was no trouble. We were greeted first by the owner's lovely daughter and then the owner who made us feel welcome immediately. The room was basic but very clean and pretty. Stayed in the rooftop window room for 2 nights in the annex which wasn't ideal as the place was full... but it was a full for a reason. What a place - unbelievable views, breakfast was good and the dinner was top tier. The free wine tasting on the terrace was a particularly nice touch. We stayed here for 2 nights just after our wedding in Puglia and couldn't be happier with it as a place to unwind. Staff very attentive/knowledgable. Unique spot to enjoy the beautiful views and explore the town. Very easy parking, amazing hosts - breakfast was a real highlight. Friendly and very welcoming. Excellent stay and a superb recommendation for restaurants.

A wonderful stay at The Club House. This is a gorgeous place in a beautiful setting in the heart of Chianti. The property is immaculate, the staff friendly and the food delicious. We loved the feel of the place...light and contemporary decor. Stunning views and lovely pool to lounge by. Fantastic location and we visited Vinci and San Miniato (lovely restaurants) really close by. Of course went to San Gimignano and visited Lucca which we loved! Hotel highlights...breakfast and pool. The dining room is beautiful and I would have quite liked to have part of it as a lounge to grab an evening drink and relax whilst enjoying to view. Light lunches available in the daytime...

Restored townhouse in lovely village of San Donato. Lots of old features and collection of old memorabilia. Fantastic views over Chianti from roof terrace where breakfast is served. Paolo and Valeria are great hosts and looked after us very well. We will go back again!!!

I hope to return to the wonder Sant'Lario! I really enjoyed the warm hospitality, the variety and quality of home cooking at breakfast, quaint and romantic setting, the enchanting walk to the pool through forest trees and past a field of sunflowers, the clean and spacious room, the location (an hour from Florence and close to beautiful villages such as Volterra and San Gimignano) and the luxurious touches that made the holiday for special e.g. Seating area overlooking Sant'Larrio vineyard...

This is a lovely horel in a quiet area of the old historic area. This staff were very welcoming and gave us a map and gave us advice on restaurants and attractions. A very comfortable bed with lovely linen and fluffy towels. Grat breakfast. I would highly recommend this hotel and stay again.

Had a wonderful family stay here. It's a very quaint and rustic old villa on the edge of the town. The views over the Chianti wilderness from every window, the pool and the Breakfast patio are breathtaking. We stayed in the Superior Suite as a family of four.
