Great location - bad experience

Avoid! This place might have known better days but not anymore. The room was too basic, I would say frugal, and so is the breakfast…. Great location near San Gimingiano

The room was clean and rustic, super cute and original. Carmela was friendly and always welcoming. Carmela's cooking was exquisite and original. Every night she made a different menu with typical tuscan appetizers, pasta with yummy sauces like pappardelle al cinghiale, second courses with delicious meats and vegetables or potatoes. Her desserts were delicious like the tiramisu'. The wine selection and grappa was great. Breakfast was abundant with juice, homemade yougurt, scramble, eggs, fruit, salumi e formaggi, milk and coffe. The Agriturismo is hidden in a beautiful land with great views of San Gemignano and the tuscan hills. My son and I had a great memorable experience. We strongly recommend for high quality bio tuscan original food. Carmela is the best cook. Thank you very much. Grazie mille!

L’accueil était très médiocre, nous avions l’impression de déranger. Propreté très moyenne et état des lieux médiocre Le petit déjeuner était très moyen et manquait grandement de fraicheur et de variété.Manque grandement d’amour et d’entretien. Très déçu de notre première experience dans ce genre d’etablissement.

Lugar céntrico para visitar Toscana pero PESIMO SERVICIO!Al reservar decía desayuno buffet y en realidad recibímos un desayuno miserable para dos personas del cual había que elegir entre salado o dulce, pedimos uno y uno porque la dueña no aceptó mezclar.Consistía en en total de: 4 medias rebanadas de pan, 2 pedacitos de queso 2 rebanadas de tomate, un huevo duro partido por la mitad,un poquito de fruta y yogurt,jugo de naranja artificial,una galleta y una pequeña rebanada de pie.Núnca se nos ofreció pedir algo más. Otros huéspedes recibieron más comida. Pedimos capuccino en la noche y nos dijo: "sólo en la mañana". El último día pedimos desayuno para llevar y recibimos cuatro frutas en una caja de plástico sucia, dos medias rebanas de pan, dos pequeñas rebanadas de queso y dos galletas envuelto en papel aluminio.TODO esto para dos personas!! La dueña nos dijo que por el Covid no había buffet, podría al menos esmerase mucho más y ponernos más cantidad. O tal vez el trato fué a propósito? Pedí una toalla extra y con mala cara me dijeron que ya había 4. Le dije que necesitaba una más para el pelo. Tuvimos que comprar jabón para las manos y bañarnos porque no nos dejaban como debería de ser. Lo mismo con el papel higiénico. Había cada vez que pedirlo. Qué clase de servicio es este? En vez de ver que los huéspedes esten todo el tiempo satisfechos? Nos sentimos muy humillados por esto, jamás recibimos un trato así además que no se cumplió lo especificado al reservar el hotel.

My favorite place we stayed our whole trip. Peaceful and relaxing. Loved the dog and cat. The 4 course dinner and breakfast were just absolutely amazing. Carmella and Andrea were so kind and extremely helpful.

We enjoyed our stay here. Pleasant owner. Outstanding setting with views of SG, but I think the 5*ratings by previous readers may be misleading to many potential visitors. The hotel is well maintained but very rustic. Our room was small with limited space for luggage. The bath was small with no space for toilet articles. The shower is very tight, and one needs to provide his own toiletries, save for a small bar of soap. The WiFi was intermittent in our room. So while I would recommend this hotel to some of my friends I would make sure they were not looking for an accommodation without some rough edges.

En supert opphold over Tuscan baken 2017

Det var fantastisk og hyggelig opphold. Carmela er veldig gjestfri og mannen hennes er veldig snill og vennlig. Maten var supert nydelig og supert 100% naturlig laget og ingrediensene som ble brukt er høstet hos fra egen gård. Vi hadde god tid til alle og ingen store problem med kommunikasjon og opphold. Jeg vil gjerne komme tilbake på plass. Takk.

Mooi pension

Fijn pension waarbij de eigenaren hun best doen je te verwennen. Goed eten, waarvoor je wel 's morgens al moet aangeven of je daar gebruik van wilt maken. Prima kamer, slechte douche. Was een kleine douchebak met een gordijn, wat steeds aan je blijft plakken. Waterstraal is afhankelijk van het overige gebruik; kan dus ineens veel meer en heter zijn. In mijn kamer (apart gebouw achter het hoofdgebouw) was geen wifi. Daarvoor moet je op het terras gaan zitten. Ik zou hier zeker teruggaan, als de kamerprijs voor een alleenreizende niet zo hoog is. Verder prima met een goed viergangenmenu.
