"The property manager doesn’t have good hospitality skills , was very rude when I came to ask about the jacuzzi and internet none of them work telling if I want ed a working jacuzzi and WiFi I had to pay extra to get transfer to an other cabin , when I had already booked the deluxe cabin with everything included and was charge weeks before arrive to the place , after that the view is beautiful "

"We appreciated the affordable stay in cabins overlooking the canyon. An easy 90 minute hike along the rim got us to the park with more views. As well, a 5 min walk a paragliding location. For those without vehicles, we could access public transportation to Aratoca then hire a taxi. Enrique arranged a ride back to the highway where we waved down a bus. "Perfect weekend getaway - staycation. If what you are looking for is an all amenities, active, accessible, stay- this is not for you. If what you want is a quiet, peaceful, nature, serenity feel- then this is it! Keep in mind that they are under renovation, but other than that it was perfect. Juan, the property manager was great to communicate with! He was very transparent about the renovations, etc., but accommodated us also given that I made the reservation the night before. He arranged pick up at the airport for us which was very helpful because it is far from Bucaramanga. The staff were onsite limited amount of time- so do not rely on site entertainment. But breakfast was brought to our room each morning and was delicious and dinner was also very tasty (and so were their cocktails). Unforgettable scenery, friendly dogs on the property, which also made us feel secure. During the day we did a walk around in the locals were really friendly and even share some beer with us. Since the staff are their limited hours, there is a little at home store down the street. He was a perfect way to relax and get away from life’s busy schedule. I highly recommend to get tours to San Gil and Barichara and many will pick you up at the lodge. Lastly I recommend to schedule a massage! Juan helped us schedule and the massage therapist had a great set up and was very relaxing"

"The hotel was great. Celina who is at the pool is absolutely amazing. As a solo traveler who does not speak English, she went the extra mile to make me feel welcomed and safe and even taking the time to talk with me and make sure I ate. The hotel was clean and very beautiful. All the staff was very kind and helpful. Will definitely stay here again. "

"The bedroom had the tiniest roll of toilet paper we had a 4 night stay and had to keep asking for toilet paper. The room keys would get deactivated so we would go to our room on the 3rd floor then had to walk all the way down to the lobby to get it reactivated.That was a hassle . The hotel has no elevator so be prepared t walk up the stairs . Nobody offered us to help with our luggage . Rooms are very hot inside . At least there was a fan . Online the hotel gives a price then They charged us 5% to use a credit card. Even at the restaurant there was an additional fee for using a card . The room service stole my personal towel . I told the front desk and they said they had to wait until the next day to ask the room service person . Overall beautiful hotel with a pool the service at the pool / bar was great but there were several things they should correct !"
