"This place was amazing.. the pictures Travelocity has doesnt do the place justice. The staff soooo friendly they go abvoe and beyond..not just one or two but all the staff. They have a turtle pond to see turtles and fish as well as frogs. Their cat oreo is so sweet and a fun addition for guests. We were able to see about 4 sloths on the property. The maintenence staff always kept an eye and then showed the guests where they were making the experience really nice. Not one problem w this place.. beautiful lovely, chill, fun things to see, great suggestions of what to do from staff.. we really loved this place and had a great experience. They furthermore provided a refreshing welcome drink upon arrival and a token for another drink when we were ready. "

"Amazing, very high quality hotel for a good price. Short walk across the street to the restaurant and a paradisiac beachfront. Pools are well maintained, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the local area and activities. Cannot recommend Le Cameleon enough!"

"Beautiful property with the ocean just a few yards away. The grounds were filled with amazing plants and animals--howler monkeys, tucans, dart frogs, agouties--and while the ocean could be a bit rough, the tide pools were sandy bottomed and deep enough to swim in without being hit by waves. Fabulous all around!"

"We loved the old world charm of the hotel. The beds were comfortable. The colourful tile in the bathroom and kitchen is very Costa Rican. The staff were excellent! So kind and attentive. We had two dinners and two breakfasts and enjoyed them all. The mature plants and palms on the property were incredible and the pool was large and clean. No complaints at all. Wish we could have stayed longer. "

"We loved the property, having the private pool and AC were definite pluses. The kitchen was functional and the bathrooms were nice - the weather makes cool showers ok and you don't miss the hot water too much. Hot water was missed for doing dishes though - we boiled water on the stove to wash. The beds could be better - the wood frames are creaky and the mattresses are too thin. Communication through WhatsApp was hit and miss - we were able to get assistance booking excursions but when we requested additional drinking water or checkout procedures we did not hear back. The tiles on the pool are due for a refresh, but the water was all ways clean as they cleaned it every day. We felt safe and safe and loved the location within easy distance to so much to do. "
