"This is a small inn in a local neighborhood. I had to call a number and wait 15 minutes before the host arrived by car to let me inside the compound. Please note there is no elevator, with 2 flights of stairs to climb to get to the top floor. The host brought my bags up. The room was small with the bed taking up most of the space. The a/c worked well. And the room was clean. Breakfast choices were fine. It’s a very short ride to the airport which the inn provided for a minimal fee."

"Fantastic stay at Ella Suites. We are a family of 4 and we were made to feel most welcome. The setting is lovely with apartments next to an enormous pool which our daughters loved. We had a two bedroom apartment which was huge and air conditioned throughout. Breakfast was very good. Very close to the airport but didn’t hear a single plane. Some nice towns and villages nearby for eating out. Suepermarkets aren’t too far away and had a few dinners in the apartment. The owners were lovely and really helpful. Would definitely recommend and represents good value for an apartment hotel."

"Our stay at hotel Costa Azul was fantastic! The owners and the staff were wonderful!!! —attentive, kind, considerate and helpful. We speak very little Italian and they did extremely well communicating with us. The room was lovely. The bathroom was beautiful. Everything was very clean and very well kept. We asked for several recommendations in the town and had much success every time. Leonardo and his family are exceptionally lovely hosts! Breakfast was delicious, cocktails and snacks from the hotel were wonderful and the pool was beautiful and kept at a perfect temperature for the very hot weather. This hotel is a three minute drive from the centre of Balestrate- a car is recommended- and a three minute walk to the beautiful and peaceful beach. We have only wonderful things to say about Hotel Costa Azul and highly recommend it to anyone wishing to stay in Balestrate. My husband and I would stay there again without question!"
